Creative Lighting Options with LBY COB, CCT Tunable and 2835 LED Strips

LBY LED strips are now available at ADM.  

We stock three different kinds: Chip on Board (COB) LED strips, Correlated Colour Temperature (CCT) Tunable LED strips, and the 2835 LED strip. 

LBY COB LED Strips 

COB LED strips are made up of light emitting diodes that are directly printed or integrated onto the printed circuit board (PCB). The LEDs are positioned with very little gap from each other, and then covered with phosphor gel, which results in an even glow without hot spots.  

Features of the LBY COB LED Strips 

• No hot spot, no shadow, soft light emitted 

• Up to 180° emitting angle 

• Can be cut to suit length requirements   

The COB LED strips are best used as ceiling light, under-cabinet light, cove light, display lighting and more.    

LBY CCT Tunable LED Strips  

CCT Tunable LED Strips are made up of individual diodes that are encapsulated in lamp beads. They can be colour adjusted in different hues of white – warm white, soft white, pure white and daylight.  

LBY CCT Tunable LED strips have full CCT range from 2700K to 6500K, where K means Kelvins, used to measure of the temperature of light. The lower CCT gives off a warmer, yellowish tone, whereas the higher CCT provides a cooler, bluish tone.

• Powered by high output 2835 LED 

• 99.99% gold thread, pure copper bracket coated with silver 

• Double layer rolled copper FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) 

The CCT Tunable LED strips are popular in applications including linear lighting, city lighting, landscape lighting, commercial and residential contour lighting, and more.  

LBY 2835 Bendable LED Strips 

2835 LED strips are known in many different names, such as - SMD LED, SMD 2835, LED 2835, 2835 LED SMD, 2835 SMD LED, SMD 2835 LED, 2835 LED chip and SMD LED chip. They all mean the same thing.  

SMD means Surface Mount Device, and 2835 stands for its physical measurement, that is 2.8 mm by 3.5 mm, which basically describes how these LED strips were made. This kind of LED strip is made up of individual 2.8 mm by 3.5 mm LED chips that are mounted onto it, unlike the COB where the chips are printed on the strip.

• 120° beam angle, flexible bending  

• Double layer rolled copper FPC 

The 2835 Bendable LED Strips are suitable for 3-6cm depth signs at airports, city signs, banks, buildings, shopping malls, and more.
